Grand conyon - Historical monuments

Historically , Grand conyon was featured a national park although the landmark had been famed to americans forever .
Roosevelt

 said that Grand conyon fills him with awe because it is beyond comparison and description . Absolutely uncompared one throughout all over the world .

In spite of Roosevelt enthusiam and strong interest in keeping land for public use . The Grand conyon was not at once featured as a national park .

 The first bill was introduced by senator Benjamin Harrison after yellowstone and Macknic . After harrison election presidency ,he founded the Grand conyon Game preserves the proclamation in 1906 .

Further senate bills to set up the site as a national park were presented and defeated in 1910 -1911.
The creation of the park was the early success of the conservation movements .

In 1975 UNESCO declared the park a world heritage site .
Geographically , the Grand conyon which embrace its extensive system of tributary conyon ,is estimated for its combination of size , depth, and expose layers of colorful rocks ,dating back to precambrian times .
             The primary publish areas of the park are the south and north Rims and an adjacent areas of the conyon itself . The rest of the part is extremely rugged and remote though many places are accessible via pack trail and back country roads . The south is more accessible than the north Rim.
