Before getting into THE MANATRA GARDENS , allow primely to see where does the name of MANARA derives from ? 




The name derives from the pavilion with its small green payramid-shaped roof , meaning lighthouse . MANARA GARDENS , which positioned in the west of marakech ,MOROCCO , thereabout the Atlas Mountains . 


Bieng old and attractive place , they were set up in the 12 century via the Almohad caliphate ruler Abd-al Mumin .
Marrakech is the actual place in which many people seek to visit in summer because it is full of some good-natured location like THE MANARA GARDENS in which most of the natives and strangers go to spend their days , enjoying with their kids namely at the vacation .


 Having surrounded by orchards and olive groves ,the pavilion and the basin are the two main sources of THE MANARA GARDENS . The prime aim of the basin was to irrigate the circling gardens and orchards using a developted system of underground channels . 


 In virtue of the old hydraulic system , the basin is provided with water . THE SYSTEM HYDRAULIC conveys water from the mountains situated in the region of 30 KM away from marrakech . 




The pavilion was established during the 16th century by Saadi dynasty and RENOVATED BY SULTAN ABDERRAHMANE OF MOROCCO ,who accustomed to stay here in summertime .

It extended to involve about 42 hectars and surrounded by walls .another factor to consider is that Walili has become well-known by an infinite number of public buildings; for instance, Basilica , Temple ,and Triumph arch .
